Barry is from Mid Wales, and has extensive knowledge in the field of Nature Conservation, and Tourism. He has worked for the R.S.P.B, North Wales Wildlife Trust and London Wildlife Trust in the UK. In The Gambia and Israel he worked as a field ornithologist, research data was later used in the field guide to Birds of The Gambia and Senegal. Again in Africa he was employed for seven years as a safari manager/ tour leader with Gambia River Safaris. He has also led overland tours to Central, East and Southern Africa.
Steven is a highly experienced hospitality host, employed in some of the best establishments under management roles, a friendly face, attitude and sure footed leadership, moving into the tour business bringing years of hospitality and customer service, ensuring a quality, successful tour all round. He is also head of Marketing and sales. Liasing with our partners and ground operators. As well as organising our attendance at trade fairs and exhibitions in the UK.
Luce is from Llandudno and has had a deep interest in Ornithology, Animal Behaviour, and wildlife conservation issues .Through her studies and working in the field of wildlife conservation education she has gained valuable experience in the care and management of endangered species,from around the world and qualifying with distinction in animal care management and presentation.She has also worked for the Zoological Society of Wales.
Simon is a our Chief Tourist Guide. Previous owner of Mufunyane Adventures. Simon is a registered Professional 4x4 Trails and Overland Tourist Guide and sat on the original committee of OGATO (Overland Guides and Tour Operator’s Association in SA). He has been guiding off-road trails to some of Africa’s wildest destinations including the Serengeti. Simon is co-author of the very successful “4x4 Routes of Southern Africa”.
Iolo needs no introduction, a highly respected wildlife conservationist,television presenter and author.Since 2010, Iolo has been part of the Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch presenting team and he has presented several series such as Wild Wales, Rugged Wales and Great Welsh Parks for BBC 2.He has written several books on Welsh wildlife in both English and Welsh and he is a regular contributor to several magazines, including ‘BBC Wildlife’.
Nick is currently based in Windhoek, Namibia from where he leads birding and wildlife tours throughout Namibia, Botswana, and Zambia. When not leading tours he tries to explore new birding areas. Besides exploring the African continent he recently led birding trips to Thailand and Spain.
Roy Packer leads all of our wildlife photography tours. He has travelled the globe photographing wildlife and he is very rarely at home in the UK. He is an award winning photographer and he will be on hand to guide you through capturing that special wildlife image.
